Matthew Trim is a Senior Business Management professional who has proved his competency across various industries, including the service, food and beverage, retail, and many more. Apart from his excellent sales and closing skills with a proven ability to market as well as sell products/services to diverse stakeholders; he is known for his outstanding communication and presentation abilities, relationship management skills, and analytical skills.
Matthew Trim started his career in 1998 as a Retail Operations Manager with Trims Retail in Adelaide, SA. After working here for five years and executing commercial management strategies that drove growth within the group beyond $15m per annum, Matthew served as the Managing Director/Operations Director of Hospitality Group, Adelaide from 2003 to 2014. During this time, he managed operational planning, strategy, project management, operations, finance and people management across various group assets. His key achievements while serving this role include - successfully building Trim Hospitality from a start-up business to $5m within 3 years, and successfully acquiring and turning around poor performing businesses to become award winning restaurants.
In 2012, Matthew Trim purchased 131 Pizza and grew it to be the largest independent pizza group within Australia. As the Business Development Director of 131 Pizza, he managed business relationships, and led customer service, account management sales and staffing operations. He negotiated key contracts with suppliers across Australia, set up a new website and online ordering portal plus an ordering app, and worked with several restaurants to increase their revenue and profitability. Additionally, he successfully developed new business streams that aided organizational profitability, and implemented Salesforce CRM which increased business productivity. Matthew left 131 Pizza in 2017 and founded his commercial real estate agency – Commercial Adelaide Real Estate Group the same year.
