Matthew Trim Has Achieved Many Milestones In His Distinguished Career So Far!

A Senior Business Management professional with an established background owning and operating businesses across the service, food and beverage and retail industries; Matthew Trim has many achievements to his name. He started his career in 1998 as a Retail Operations Manager with Trims Retail, Adelaide, SA, where he played a lead role in the execution of commercial management strategies, which drove growth within the company beyond $15m per annum achieved through focusing on modernisation and continual process improvements. 

In 2003, Matthew Trim founded a Hospitality Group that encompassed restaurants, bars and pubs across the North Adelaide and Norwood region employing approximately 70 employees within the group. As the Managing Director/Operations Director of Trim Hospitality, his major achievement was to successfully build his start-up business to $5m in just three years with significant and sustained increases to gross profit and EBITDA. Moreover, he successfully acquired and turned around many poor performing businesses to become award winning restaurants. 

From 2012 to 2017, Matthew served as the Business Development Director of 131 Pizza, Melbourne, Victoria. Some of his major accomplishments here were:

• Successfully building 131 Pizza to become the largest independent Pizza group within Australia with more than 200 member stores nation-wide with outstanding sales and closing skills 
• Leading and managing continued growth, and successfully maintaining excellent client relationships 
• Negotiating key contracts with suppliers across Australia
• Setting up new website and online ordering portal plus ordering app 
• Working with numerous restaurants to increase their revenue and profitability
• Successfully developing new business streams that aided organizational profitability
• Implementing Sales force CRM that increased business productivity
• Forming long lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders

At present, Matthew Trim is serving as the Director of Commercial Adelaide Real Estate Group which he founded in 2017.
